The story takes place in 1989 in the setting of Kuppam. Subrahmanyam, who is dissatisfied with the lack of progress in his life, pursues a career as a gunsmith in situations where guns are not readily accessible. Due to the surge in violence in the city, police officers begin pursuing the goldsmith.
