Val (portrayed by Isabel Cueva), reeling from the loss of her unborn twins, seeks solace with her husband Justin (Dan Thiel) by moving to a secluded cabin in hopes of healing and beginning anew. However, tranquility eludes her as she becomes aware of a malevolent presence lurking nearby. Concern for Val's well-being draws her best friend (Whitney Anderson) to visit, unwittingly triggering the unraveling of deeply buried secrets. Val's encounter with an enigmatic neighbor (Chris Browning) propels her quest for answers. With the encouragement of a compassionate local bar owner (Rebecca DeMornay), Val musters the courage to confront the sinister force disrupting her serenity.
