Shin Megami Tensei V Announced For Switch
The next RPG instalment in the Shin Megami Tensei universe has been announced and it's going to be exclusive to Nintendo Switch it seems.
Since the beginning of 2017 there's been knowledge of a Shin Megami Tensei project for the Switch but only now has it been revealed by Atlus. Shin Megami Tensei V's announcement marks the 25th anniversary of the long-running series.
The original Shin Megami Tensei launched as far back as October 1992 for the Super Famicom, before eventually re-releasing on PC, Mega-CD, PlayStation, Game Boy Advance, iOS and Android. It's a post-apocalyptic RPG created by Atlus.
Shin Megami Tensei V for Switch has no release date yet. The announcement itself was made in a brief trailer.
