Lock's Quest Release Date Delayed To May 30th
THQ Nordic has added just over a month to the remastered Lock's Quest getting into our hands as they delay the launch to the end of May for PC and consoles.
The remastered Nintendo 3DS game now features a number of gameplay and visual improvements over the original such as a progression system automatically unlocking new turrets at story milestones, and features a new map.
There's also a remapping of controls and we shift to more traditional gamepads for console and the keyboard & mouse for PC gamers. The musical score has been remastered too with higher quality audio with an orchestrated introduction and ending. The UI has been revamped and customised for HD resolutions with new artwork, and character portraits have been refactored.
"...you play as Lock, a boy who stumbles upon an invasion of his Village, which triggers a wider war between Kingdom Force and a revived Clockwork Army, led by the nefarious Lord Agony. A gripping story unfolds as you progress through 75 Days of warfare, across a dozen unique maps, aided by a collection of turrets, traps and special attacks."
Lock's Quest releases on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 May 30th, 2017.
