Now Here's The Thing! New Fantastic Four Images
After a few leaked photos we finally have our first official snap of Ben Grimm aka the ever-lovin’ blue-eyed Thing from the upcoming Fantastic Four reboot.
The image was released alongside two others which are very much in keeping with the sci-fi heavy vibe of the trailer.
And, if we are not mistaken seem to show a pre-stretched Mr Fantastic, played by Miles Teller, just before some kind of experimentation – I’d swear those arms were a little longer than they should be…
Steeping away from The Thing’s rather rubbery suit of the previous Fantastic Four movies, directed by Tim Story with Michael Chiklis doing the clobbering, director Josh Trank told Empire that getting Jamie Bell to don the mo-cap suit to bring Thing to life was a no-brainer: “Jamie in real life is a tough guy. He exudes this strength. Ben is Reed’s best friend in the archetypal, spiritual way, and you want that character to have that warmth and that strength.”
Fantastic Four is released in the UK on August 6.
