MachiaVillain Announced

Gambitious Digital has announced indie simulation strategy game MachiaVillain from Wild Factor will be releasing on PC, Mac and Linux in Autumn 2017.

It's about running a creepy house full of monstrous minions as you lay traps for innocent mortals to be lured into so your community of horrors have something to snack on. It's inspired by the classic 'Good to be Bad' Dungeon Keeper, but also modern management sims like RimWorld.

"MachiaVillain challenges players to build their own mansions up from harmless houses to nightmarish palaces of terrors. Lure locals inside, set deadly traps or let your minions feast on their flesh. But beware – even horror movie monsters have a code to honour. To become the scariest neighbourhood menace, you'll have to slay by the rules... target victims when they're alone, keep the virgin alive until the end, and never, ever hurt the dog."

Different monsters have unique traits you can use to your advantage while you try to balance their needs, and exploit their fighting styles. The mansion can be upgraded how you please while you harvest resources for your nefarious schemes. Supernatural creatures can be tamed and monster hunters are always a pitchfork mob away from raiding your community.
