Rare's Nostalgia Bonanza Means Xbox One Has More N64 Games Than Wii U

Rare Replay hit stores in Europe 2 days ago launching 30 iconic games on to the Xbox One. This means that the count of Nintendo 64 games on the Microsoft console exceeds the amount on the Wii U, the 64's great grandson.

Currently, the Wii U only has six Nintendo 64 games (not to mention the Wii backwards compatibility mode) including The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Super Mario 64, Paper Mario, Donkey Kong 64, Mario Tennis, and Kirby 64.

As for the Xbox One, you're now able to play Banjo-Kazooie, Banjo-Tooie, Conker's Bad Fur Day, Killer Instinct Gold, Jet Force Gemini, Blast Corps, and Perfect Dark. Alongside 23 other titles, you can get these games for just $30 while Nintendo still charges $10 a game.

Perhaps Nintendo is lying in wait with an enormous collection of remastered N64 titles ready for this holiday season? We can only dream...
