It's Adam Sandler Vs Donkey Kong In First Pixels Trailer
The first trailer for the '80s video game mash-up movie Pixels has been released and it is gloriously nostalgic.
The movie centres around an alien invasion the likes of which we have never seen. After a space capsule from the '80s is found by an alien race and misinterpreted as a declaration of war, the aliens invade using characters from the games found within the capsule.
The film stars Adam Sandler (Hotel Transylvania 2), Michelle Monaghan (The Best of Me), Peter Dinklage (Game of Thrones), and Josh Gad (Frozen 2) as the group of unlikely heroes working to prevent mankind's destruction. The film also features Kevin James (Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2) and Jane Krakowski (Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt) as the President and First Lady of America, as well as Sean Bean (Jupiter Ascending) in an unspecified, probably doomed, role.
