Thor: Ragnarok Gets a New International Trailer
Doctor Strange has some dark proclamations for Thor in the latest international trailer for Thor: Ragnarok.
The Chinese trailer, which features snippets of new footage of Thor (Chris Hemsworth), the god of thunder’s fight against the goddess of death, Hela (Cate Blanchett), teases a cameo appearance by Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch).
While much of the footage has been seen before in other trailers, there is some new stuff for fans to obsess over as well. This includes teases of a fight between Thor and Hela on the Rainbow Bridge, as well as a different look at Surtur the fire demon.
As for the film itself, Thor: Ragnarok looks set to replace the sad memories of Thor: The Dark World – which was mostly based on Earth and failed to capture audience’s imaginations with a weak storyline and dull villain – with an 80’s tinged trip across the cosmos with a star-studded cast.
Co-starring Tom Hiddleston, Cate Blanchett, Idris Elba, Jeff Goldblum, Tessa Thompson, Karl Urban, Mark Ruffalo, and Anthony Hopkins, Thor: Ragnarok is released on Nov 3, 2017.
