No, really... Bethesda is Advertising on Tinder

If you're an avid user of the popular dating app Tinder, you may have come across a new member of your community: Vault Boy, 25 years old, only 1 mile away.

"Build a brighter future together... underground!" offers the Vault Boy's official Tinder profile, "If love was radiation, I'd need a box of RadAways." Fake Tinder accounts are always lurking about but, looking closer into the situation, this isn't a parody. This is an official advertising campaign between Tinder and Bethesda Game Studios for Fallout Shelter.

If you were to click the profile, unfortunately, you'll just be redirected to a download link for Fallout Shelter but it's still a neat idea. It's also a possibly glimpse into the future of the Tinder app in which every other swipe is an advertisement and not another human being.

As for Fallout Shelter, if you haven't tried it yet, the game has just come out on Android devices.
