Playing fast and loose with the actual science, it isn’t exactly clear how Reeves’ Foster, resurrects his wife Mona (Alice Eve) and their children but suffice to say that challenging the laws of God, man, nature, science doesn’t end too well for the pair or the newly-revived family either.
Directed by Jeffrey Nachmanoff and written by London Has Fallen scribe Chad St. John, Replicas was shot in Puerto Rico last year, so Keanu Reeves and New York Comic Con announced during the panel that they have partnered to fundraise for hurricane relief. And while there’s no release date yet for the film, the panel audience was told to expect it sometime in 2018.
