New Trailer for NBC's Midnight, Texas
NBC have unleashed a trailer for supernatural series, Midnight, Texas, the latest series to come from the pen of True Blood creator Charlaine Harris.
The series finds Francois Arnaud as Manfred Bernando, a loner and a psychic who finds a home in a small town full of other unusual people. The show will feature monsters, magic, supernatural beings of all kinds, and of course, the bitey vampires.
The trailer does a nice job of introducing the cast and the place they reluctantly call home, while remaining familiar to genre fans as a re-run of Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
Whether or not it has enough to distinguish itself from the crowded supernatural TV drama market, remains to be seen – hopefully fans of Charlaine Harris will give it enough of a boost for Midnight, Texas to find its feet.
Midnight, Texas premiers July 25 on NBC.
