The episodic time-manipulating adventure Life is Strange from Dontnod Entertainment is getting a often-rumoured sequel, confirm the developers.
The rather low-key announcement of Life is Strange 2 came from a "special message" video from Dontnod on the Life is Strange YouTube channel.
They reveal the studio has been working on a sequel since the release of the boxed version last year.
They tease that they can't wait to share more about the follow-up. The studio has said previously that any such sequel would most likely feature an all-new setting and cast of characters and this is rather likely given the conclusion of Life is Strange. There is much left unsaid about how Max was able to manipulate time in the original and it's left open to the possibility that others can use this 'gift'.
Life is Strange 2 is likely in development for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
