Preacher Arrives in the UK on Monday
Testify! UK Preacher fans gird your loins as Monday 23rd May will be the day that you’ll finally get to see the Reverend Jesse Custer embark on his quest to find God…literally.
Amazon Prime has confirmed that the showwill launch in the UK, Austria, Germany and Japan on Monday, with ensuingepisodes landing each Monday from June 6. If you’re in the US, you can catch itthe day before courtesy of AMC.
For those not in the know, Preacher, based on the 75 issue run from DC Comics Vertigo line, follows the aforementioned Rev(who, possessed by the godlike offspring of an angel and a demon, has somerather unique abilities) in his very violent, very funny quest to find God, whohas gone missing.
Dominic Cooper is playing the notorious manof the cloth in the show. Ruth Negga is his badass ex-girlfriend Tulip, andthen there’s Irish gadabout Cassidy, played by This Is England’s Joseph Gilgun.
