Will We Be Seeing Another Game In The Witcher Series?
The future of The Witcher is quite shaky, not that we weren't left satisfied with the third instalment; CD Projekt don't have any immediate plans to continue the franchise considering the mountain of work left to do for Cyberpunk 2077 which is expected to hit a 2018 release date.
Still, CD Projekt co-founder Marcin Iwinski is pushing "never say never." During an interview with Eurogamer, Iwinski was asked whether or not the developer will return to the franchise to which he replied: “We honestly don't know. We don't have anything planned as of now to be honest on the next Witcher."
"This is the end. Blood and Wine is closing and there won't be any Witcher any time soon - if there ever will be one. And I would really like to see how people feel about it, if they will enjoy it."
