Welcome to Wakanda…

It has been awhile since we first checked in with Ryan Coogler’s Black Panther – it seems like a veritable ice age since that Comic Con footage - but now that’s all changed as a brand-new trailer has just dropped.

Co-written by Coogler and Joe Robert Cole, Black Panther returns us to the African nation of Wakanda, which was previously seen in the MCU at the end of Captain America: Civil War.

Chadwick Boseman plays the titular Panther, the heroic alter-ego of T'Challa, Wakanda's protector and ruler since his father's death during the events of Civil War.

Co-starring Lupita Nyong'o, Danai Gurira, Angela Bassett, Forest Whitaker, Sterling K. Brown, Martin Freeman and Andy Serkis, who reprises his role as Ulysses Klaue, the arms dealer who first cropped up in Avengers: Age Of Ultron.

Black Panther arrives in UK cinemas on 16 February 2018.
