Sicario Gets Second Trailer, Continues To Remind Us What Title Means
It means Hitman, by the way. I can only assume it was named Sicario, rather than Hitman to avoid any confusion with a certain Agent 47.
The movie stars Emily Blunt (Into the Woods) as an FBI agent who joins a task force on the US-Mexican border which combats the growing war against drugs with the aid of a consultant played by Benicio Del Toro (Snatch).
The movie is directed by Denis Villeneuve (Prisoners) based on a script by Taylor Sheridan. Despite being Sheridan's first script to be turned into a movie, it received critical acclaim when it debuted at Cannes Film festival.
Sicario is due out on September 18 in the US and September 25 in the UK. You can watch the latest trailer below:
