Around the world, console Minecraft players should have access to the latest update [1.21] which adds support for the latest skin packs as well as offering trial content.

The 1.21 update will add trial content for the Halloween 2015 Mash-up Pack and Star Wars Prequel Skin Pack, and will also fix a small memory leak and add coloured lighting from torches to go along with the Halloween pack.

If you want to pick up the complete versions of the Halloween pack and Star Wars Prequel pack, you'll be able to get them today and tomorrow respectively. The Halloween pack will run you £3.30 and includes 43 skins and a texture pack.

The skins on offer have something of an old-school Halloween vibe. Here are some examples: Grim Reaper, Bride of Frankenstein, Wicked Witch, Tree Face, Mad Doctor, Swamp Monster and, of course, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. As with all our packs, you’ll be able to download a few of them for free.

The Star Wars Prequel pack comes in slightly cheaper at £2.49 and will include more than 50 character skins.

From the scheming Senator Palpatine to the courageous Queen Amidala, and of course, the powerful Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker, you are free to build new worlds with iconic characters. Minecrafters can enjoy more than 50 character skins from Star Wars: The Phantom Menace, Star Wars: Attack of the Clones, and Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith, and relive the rise of the Galactic Empire block by block.
