Michel Ancel: Ubisoft 'Need To Bring Rayman Back For Fourth Adventure'
Rayman creator Michel Ancel is currently busy at Ubisoft with Beyond Good & Evil 2 and WiLD, but he also wants to return to the Rayman series.
In a teasing Instragram post the veteran developer took a photo of a Rayman display at a second-hand store and commented on the 'pathetic state' of the hero. He declares there'll have to be a foruth adventure and not to let the hero die.
It's a curious choice of words from Ancel as 'fourth adventure' suggest a full sequel to Rayman instead of the prequel side-scrolling affairs that are Rayman Origins and Legends - despite being fantastic games. Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc released back in 2003 for the PC, consoles and handhelds.
Could Ubisoft greenlight a full fourth adventure for Rayman? Would it be a 3D platform game or more side-scrolling?
Beyond Good and Evil 2 is in development for undisclosed platforms.
