New Trailer For HBO's Westworld, Reminds Us 'Violent Delights Have Violent Ends'
This October a new HBO series begins based off Michael Crichton's classic cult film Westworld. This adaptation explores the dark underbelly of such an adult theme park.
This new gritty TV series stars Sir Anthony Hopkins as industrialist Dr Robert Ford who creates an Old West attraction that's staff by completely lifelike androids, programmed to act out their lives and to be at the whim of human guests.
The trouble begins when a breakdown or 'glitch' appears to be affecting the synthetic populace, and the androids begin to question the nature of their existence. Westworld also stars Ben Barnes, Ingrid Bolsø Berdal, Clifton Collins Jr., Ed Harris, Sidse Babett Knudsen, James Marsden, Thandie Newton, Evan Rachel Wood and Jeffrey Wright.
The first episode of Westworld debuts on HBO this October.
