Deadbeat Heroes Release Date Announced October
Square Enix Collective will be publishing Deadbeat Productions' 3D crime-brawler Deadbeat Heroes this October, where you use superpowers to thwart villains.
As both an ode to 3D fighters and a tip of the hat to comic books, Deadbeat Heroes removes the ability to block attacks in over 40 levels to make you keep on your agile toes. You'll have to duck, dodge, climb and backflip through enemies with nine over-the-top powers.
“Deadbeat Heroes is an ode to 3D fighters everywhere,” offered Langridge, Director at Deadbeat Productions. “We wanted to create a modern, movement based brawler, one where the player fully utilises the world around them. There just haven't been enough of these recently, so we decided put our heads together and push the genre forward.”
The game is set in 70's London - the "coolest place in the universe." Super powered criminals have spilled into the streets and it will take a new breed of superhero to put a stop to it all. This is a movement-based 3D brawler where you and possibly a friend stay on the move, steal super powers and crack wise.
Deadbeat Heroes releases on PC and Xbox One October 10th, 2017.
