Real-time strategy Act of Aggression from developer Eugen Systems will be reviving the classic RTS love of base-building when it launches on PCs tomorrow, September 2nd.

The official launch trailer has now been released and contains all the strategic teasing you'd image it would. The game is set in the near future of the 2020s where a global economic recession has resulted from the 'Shanghai Crash' and the Chinese financial system collapse. Three major factions will be battling it out in Act of Aggression.

The United Nations has setup a multi-national task force to investigate the true origins of the Shanghai Crash, while an organisation known as The Cartel profits from the global recession crisis and further infiltrates governments around the world. The United States meanwhile continues to struggle against economic woes and a shrinking defence budget.

Act of Aggression is compared favourably to how the early Command & Conquer games played, which focused on base-building and churning out those units while managing resources and unlocking higher tech units.

Act of Aggression releases on PC tomorrow, September 2nd.
