Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition Announced For January 2018
Capcom has unveiled Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition for PC and PlayStation 4 which includes the original Street Fighter V with all released content.
What's more it adds Arcade Mode, Extra Battle Mode, new V-Trigger moves, Gallery, a new UI design and other bits. All season one and two DLC characters will be bundled in too, and the best part is owners of Street Fighter V get this free.
"In the upcoming Arcade Mode, players can reminisce in the Street Fighter series history as they celebrate the last 30 years of the multi-million selling franchise. Choose from six different paths and compete in matches against CPU opponents to reveal unique endings based on player performance."
Extra Battle Mode features timed exclusive challenges where players can use their Fight Money for a chance to win an exclusive premium outfit each month. "Complete all four challenges each month and receive a special premium costume exclusive to this mode. With extra challenges being added and more unannounced content on the way, Street Fighter V will continue to deliver new and refreshed content on a regular basis throughout 2018 and beyond."
Players of Street Fighter V and the Arcade Edition will share the same online player pool with cross-platform play continuing for PC and PS4.
Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition releases on PC and PlayStation 4 January 16th, 2018.
