Paradox Interactive and Colossal Order have confirmed doom is upon the world as Natural Disasters will be arriving in Cities: Skylines by the end of November.

Flooding, tornadoes, meteors, forest fires, earthquakes... the people of our cities will flee in terror as of next week and into those handily placed shelters. You did remember to build the shelters, right? It's not just mother nature's wrath that gets added in the latest expansion but also the facilities to deal with said wrath.

As part of a free update accompanying the Natural Disasters DLC, the studio is adding a scenario editor for everyone. This lets you effectively create your own challenges and to be shared via the Steam Workshop. It can include the use of natural disasters or to create some win or fail conditions.

Also coming is a radio station that will infuse the Mayoral day-to-day with music and various channels to tune into. We also get sensors to help detect whether a disaster is threatening the town from seismic activity to watching the skies for giant balls of fire.

Cities: Skylines - Natural Disasters releases on PC, Mac and Linux November 29th, 2016.
