Gamescom 2016's Gaming Line-up For August 17-21
This month is the annual Gamescom event held in Cologne, Germany and it's become another cornerstone for studios and publishers to grab our short attention spans.
We're compiling a list of major publishers, studios and games themselves so you can keep an eye out for later this month when the event kicks off. It's basically Europe's E3 if you will, but it does let some of the smaller-to-medium fry get much needed exposure.
The big names attending Gamescom 2016 include 505 Games, Activision Blizzard, Bandai Namco, Bethesda Softworks, CCP, CD Projekt, Deep Silver, Dontnod Entertainment, Electronic Arts, Blizzard Entertainment, Frontier Developments, Focus Home Interactive, HTC Vive, Konami, Microsoft, Nintendo, Nvidia, Oculus VR, Rebellion, Square Enix, Take-Two Interactive, Ubisoft, Wargaming.net and Warner Bros. Entertainment.

Here are the confirmed line-ups so far:
► Square Enix
• Square Enix Collective projects, which if successfully voted for will get funding from Square Enix and published. The projects on show include: The Turing Test, Black The Fall, Tokyo Dark, Oh My Godheads and Goetia.
► Focus Home Interactive
As we get closer to the start of Gamescom 2016 there'll be more official line-up lists released by attendees. The event in Cologne, Germany will be held between August 17-21, with the floor open to everyone from August 18th.
