Award-winning regal drama The Crown is returning to captivate Netflix viewers.
In the new footage from the upcoming second season, Queen Elizabeth II (Clare Foy) has been on the throne for less than 10 years and already she’s overseen three different prime ministers and an ever-changing world of chaos and political back-stabbing.
Feeling as though her husband Prince Philip (Matt Smith) doesn’t have her back, the royal household is beset by scandals but can the Queen take matters into her own hands and steady the royal ship.
This next season will see the arrival of US president John F. Kennedy (Michael C. Hall) and Jacqueline Kennedy (Jodi Balfour), and Matthew Goode as Tony Armstrong-Jones, a bohemian photographer who becomes Princess Margaret's (Vanessa Kirby) new beau.
The show will be back on our screens on 8 December.
