Hugh Jackman 'In Talks' To Star In Lionsgate's "The Odyssey"
Greek mythology in The Odyssey is going to be facing off against The Wolverine's Hugh Jackman as the star is said to be in talks with the movie studio to possibly take up the role of Odysseus.
The film will be focusing on the mythical tales of Odysseus as he returns home following the Trojan war. Things don't quite go to plan as his ship gets blown of course and ends up facing some of the most deadly creatures from Greek mythology. It's possible The Odyssey may span more than a single film, though nothing has been confirmed.
The Hunger Games director Francis Lawrence will be taking on Lionsgate's adaptation of Homer’s "The Odyssey". A representative for Hugh Jackman said "this is a conversation at this point. Very early stages and nothing is confirmed."
There's no release schedule yet for The Odyssey.
