Logan Lucky Gets Criminally Good New Trailer
Cinephiles rejoice! Steven Soderbergh is not only back behind the camera, he’s back behind the camera on a brand-new crime comedy, Logan Lucky, an Ocean’s Eleven caper if there were only four of them left and none of them were remotely cool.
A tale of slightly dim and dangerous criminals who launch an audacious plan to rob the ticket office at the Coca Cola Cup NASCAR race held at Charlotte Motor Speedway, the film sees Jimmy (Canning Tatum) and Clyde (Adam Driver) Logan, hatch a brilliant scheme to hijack the hydraulic tube system under the speedway track, with the race serving as the perfect distraction. Providing the expertise, the appropriately named safecracker Joe Bang (Daniel Craig – who looks like he’ll steal every scene).
Co-staring Riley Keough, Hilary Swank, Seth MacFarlane, Katie Holmes, Katherine Waterston and Sebastian Stan, Logan Lucky explodes into cinemas on 18 August before landing on UK screens for 25 August.
