Making its debut during the MTV Movie Awards, a brand new trouser-browning trailer for the new adaptation of Stephen King’s It, promise more sewer based horrors for the children of Maine.

Amongst its horrors, the children, featuring Stranger Things’ Finn Wolfhard and Midnight Special’s Jaeden Lieberher, finally step inside the subterranean world of Pennywise the clown (Bill Skarsgård) and come face to face with the clown who’s definitely not frowning on the inside.  While down there, the gang find the shoe of a missing girl, leading them to wonder if she's still alive. A floating red balloon emerges, and that's where things get scary, culminating with a full look at Pennywise the clown's face.

The film is expected to be the first of two – in the novel a group of kids overcome their fears to eventually defeat the creature known as It. Years later he returns, and as adults they must work together to finish the job. The first movie will be about the children's story, while a second will chronicle the adults' narrative.

Directed by Andrés Muschietti (Mama), It will hit cinemas on September 8th.
