The Newly-Formed Justice League Assemble in New Image
They’ve got a carrier, they’ve got dramatic smoke and, more importantly, they’ve got each other; it’s a brand-new image of the Justice League.
Take a gander at the Night Owl alike Batman (Ben Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Cyborg (Ray Fischer), The Flash (Ezra Miller), and Aquaman (Jason Momoa) as they stare heroically at…well…something.
One noticeable absentee from the assembled (other non-Marvel associated collective terms are available) team is Superman (Henry Cavill) so we can only hazard a guess that it comes from a scene early in the movie where he hasn’t been resurrected in a cool black suit with super 90’s hair.
The movie is rumoured to see our newly formed super team – complete with their combative egos and general sense of distrust (I’m looking at you, the Dark Knight) – go face to face with the galactic menace known as Steppenwolf.
It also promises to bring a few more yuks and guffaws to the obsidian black world of the DC Cinematic Universe.
Directed once again by Zack Snyder Justice League will be out on 17 November this year in the UK, following its 10 November release in the US. However, before that, there’s the small matter of Wonder Woman’s standalone movie, which hits cinemas on 2 June.
