First Trailer for Aaron Sorkin Drama Molly's Game
Marking the directorial debut of The Social Network writer Aaron Sorkin, Molly’s Game stars Jessica Chastain as Molly Bloom, former skier and one-time Olympic hopeful, who found herself running the world’s biggest underground poker game.
Based on a true story, Chastain’s Bloom catered for the likes of the Hollywood Elite, Russian mobsters and business moguls but she was eventually caught, and, facing a negative backlash from the press, she sets out to right their wrongs with the help of her criminal defence attorney, played by Idris Elba.
A definite award-season contender, Molly’s Game co-stars Kevin Costner, Michael Cera, Brian d’Arcy James, Chris O’Dowd, Graham Greene, and Jeremy Strong who’ll all be hoping Sorkin successfully leaps from writer to director.
Molly’s Game is released on Nov 22nd, 2017.
