Frozen 2 Announced

article image

As if there was any doubt it may happen, Disney have finally stepped forward and confirmed that Frozen 2 is being made. This shouldn't come as much of a surprise given that Frozen was the highest grossing musical, and animation, ever. Also the pervasiveness of Idina Menzel's Oscar winning "Let It Go" were clear signs the movie would warrant a sequel.

So far Disney has shared little about the movie. They have stated that Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee are back on board for writing and directing duties. At the announcement Josh Gad (New Girl) also stated that he would be returning as the voice of loveable snowman Olaf.

As of yet there has been no official news that Idina Menzel (Glee) or Kristen Bell (House Of Lies) will reprise their roles of Elsa and Anna respectively. However, both have hinted their involvement and it's a safe bet that Disney would do everything it could to bring them back. We should of course also expect to see Jonathan Groff (Glee) return as Kristoff.

No release date for Frozen 2 has been set as of yet, but check back with us and we'll have it as soon as it's confirmed.
