Alicia Vikander In For Bourne 5, Out Of Assassin's Creed

Alicia Vikander is fast becoming a sought after star, following her role in the sci-fi existential crisis that is Ex Machina. She had been rumoured to be appearing in both the next bourne movie, and the long awaited Assassin's Creed film.

Both of these are big budget blockbusters in the making and being sought after for both indicates we'll be seeing Vikander more and more over the coming years. The one hiccup with these rumours, of course, is that both films are due to film this year. That would make appearing as, presumably, a lead character in them both a scheduling nightmare.

Well, it would appear that Vikander shared this thought as well as she has now revealed that she will be starring in the as yet untitled Bourne sequel, which sees Matt Damon (Interstellar) return as Jason Bourne, as well as Paul Greengrass (Captain Phillips) back behind the camera. This Also means she will not be joining Michael Fassbender (Macbeth) for Assassin's Creed.

Alicia Vikander can next be viewed on the big screen in The Man From U.N.C.L.E. which hits theatres August 14.
