Sherlock's Sian Brooke Joins Mission: Impossible 6
Last seen being healed by a hug, Sherlock’s Sian Brooke has joined the cast of Tom Cruise’s stunt-a-thon, Mission: Impossible 6.
Joining fellow newcomers Vanessa Kirby (The Crown) and Henry Cavill (Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice), Brooke, who recently played Eurus Holmes, the long-lost sister of Benedict Cumberbatch’s Sherlock, will play an undisclosed role.
According to Variety, Brooke’s work on Sherlock specifically caught the eye of studio executives, leading to her casting in the newest series instalment. They’ll be joined by returning regulars Simon Pegg, Jeremy Renner and Rebecca Ferguson…oh and of course, someone called Tom Cruise, who apparently has been training for a full year to pull off an amazing stunt which sounds like he’s taking the title literally.
Production on Mission: Impossible 6 is expected to kick off sometime in the spring.
