Peter Jackson's The Hobbit Returning To Cinemas As Extended Editions Early October
The Extended Editions of The Hobbit trilogy of films from Peter Jackson are heading their way to cinemas. From October 5th they'll be screened by Warner Bros. and Fathom Events.
If you thought you knew all there was to the trilogy adventure then guess again. Obviously that hour worth of missing footage changes everything. Everything. Anyone telling you different is likely hoarding that footage like some kind of treasure squatting dragon.
The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug and The Hobbit: The Battle of The Five Armies will all be going Extended Edition on us. Sadly, cinemas lack a pause-while-I-relieve-my-business option, so cross those legs tight.
Those of us who prefer to watch the extra-long versions at home can complete the trilogy this November 3rd when the Extended Edition for The Battle of The Five Armies releases on Blu-ray.
