Nolan North Reveals The Last of Us 2 is On Its Way
Nolan North (also known as Nathan Drake, The Penguin, Kraang, Desmond Miles, Deadpool, Dr. N Gin and, most importantly, Additional Voices from Microsoft Flight Simulator X) just revealed the existence of a sequel for The Last of Us.
During a panel at Metrocon 2015, a fan asked North whether or not he's working with Naughty Dog on any new projects. If you haven't finished The Last of Us, we'd recommend you don't read further due to spoilers but... North said. “For now, the last one I know they're doing The Last Of Us 2 but my character in The Last Of Us kinda... kinda... untimely demise."
In contrast, Troy Baker (the voice of Joel in The Last of Us) claimed he has no idea whether or not The Last of Us was returning. "I know nothing. I don't know if we're gonna do another one or not. If we do, then I trust Neil and Bruce and everyone at Naughty Dog to tell a story that needs to be told."
