Old versus new in fresh side-by-side cowl-off between old Batman Arkham Asylum and Arkham City, compared to the new Unreal Engine 4-powered Return to Arkham bundle.
Surely the Unreal Engine 4 remastering for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will best the original UE3 version for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC? The new remastered version is called Return To Arkham and includes the first two games.

Of course the real test can only come from playing it yourself and so far Return To Arkham hasn't been without its criticisms for certain 'downgrades' when it comes to specific characters. Overall things have certainly gotten beefed up visually.
Virtuos is the studio behind this remastered release with development offices in China, France, Canada and Japan. They've handled a lot of major IPs for publishers, whether remastering or porting.
Batman: Return to Arkham releases on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 October 18th in the US, October 21st in Europe. It includes all released DLC for the two Rocksteady originals.
