Project Wight Announced By Former Battlefield / Payday Veteran

David Goldfarb is a former lead designer for Battlefield 3 and game director for Payday 2, and now he's terrorising innocent pillaging Vikings with Project Wight.

His new independent studio The Outsiders are busy using the Unity engine to explore a mythical species teetering on the edge of extinction at the hands of the busy Vikings and their evil human ways.

Currently the game is going by Project Wight as they aren't revealing a full name yet. From the sneak peek trailer we will be playing as a young creature that must keep hidden from the humans until they're grown.

Later as an older adolescent we get to see what we can do to the horn-helmet menance that plagues these ancient parts of the world. Exactly what kind of rampage or vengeance we'll be going on isn't clear but we all have to grow up and stop skulking in our creepy caves some time and kick a viking off a cliff.

Project Wight is currently in early development with no platforms announced, but PC is likely.
