Pesky old scheduling conflicts may have resulted in Paul Dano passing on terrorism thriller 7500 but, all hope isn’t lost, as Joseph Gordon-Levitt has boarded this particular flight.
According to Empire, Patrick Vollrath is writing and directing, making his full-length debut after scoring an Oscar nomination for his most recent live-action short film.
Gordon-Levitt will play Tobias Ellis, a co-pilot on a commercial flight who must deal with danger when terrorists hijack the plane at 30,000 feet. Vollrath has just started the cameras rolling, and will shoot in Cologne and Vienna.
7500 has no release date yet but it shouldn’t be too long before it leaves the hanger.
