Warhammer 40,000: Dawn Of War III Mac & Linux Release Date Announced
The release of Relic Entertainment's latest real-time strategy Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War III for Mac and Linux gamers has been announced for June.
WAAAGH! The pitched battles between the Blood Ravens Space Marines, the Eldar and the Ork horde are over the discovery of a 'catastrophic weapon' known as the Spear of Khaine. It was found on the planet Acheron.
Feral Interactive are the ones bringing Relic's Dawn of War III to Mac and Linux, having done so previously for Dawn of War II and Company of Heroes 2. They are identical to the PC version and will feature Steam Workshop support all the same. Currently the only cross-platform play supported will be between Mac and Linux with Relic intending to add Windows users to the list in a future update.
Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War III releases on Mac and Linux June 8th, 2017. Current owners of the Windows version will get access to all three at launch.
