Warners Set Three LEGO Movie Dates
Warner Bros. have added three new blocks to their LEGO franchise set with a trio of new movies set to be released from 2017 onwards – you might even say they’ve ‘cubed’ it!
First up in their mission to make everything slightly more awesome is the currently untitled "LEGO Batman Movie" which is targeting a February 10th 2017 release date, the same early February weekend that "The LEGO Movie" had such success in last year.
Following late 2017, the LEGO "Ninjago" movie is scheduled for a September 22nd release - a push back of almost a year from the Fall 2016 release date that was previously being targeted.
And finally, the official "The LEGO Movie Sequel" has been moved up a week and is now slated to open May 18th 2018.
U.S. Warner Bros. Pictures domestic distribution president Dan Fellman says: "These three films already in the pipeline are just the beginning of a creative and diverse animation slate that will be delighting audiences for years to come."
