Coen Brothers' The Ballad of Buster Scruggs Lands At Netflix
The Coen Brothers’ Western anthology The Ballad of Buster Scruggs has found a home at Netflix for a 2018 premiere.
According to Deadline, masterful storytellers Joel and Ethan Coen are heading to the American frontier with six tales of about the wild west, staring Tim Blake Nelson as the titular Buster.
The Brothers, who will also write and direct the series, said: “We are streaming motherfuckers!”Sounding less excitable was Cindy Holland, Vice President, Original Content for Netflix added: “The Coens are visionary directors, masterful storytellers, and colorful linguists. We are thrilled for Netflix to become home to the full range of their talents.”
The series will be executive produced by Megan Ellison and Sue Naegle from Annapurna Television, along with longtime Coen Brothers collaborator Robert Graf.
The Ballad Buster Scruggs will mosey on to Netflix in 2018.
