Bandai Namco and developer Level 5 has announced that Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom won't make it out this year as it gets pushed into mid-January 2018.
Sorry but there'll be no struggle for a young prince to get back his kingdom this year. The studio decided more time was needed to tug at heart strings and hammer out any trouble in this single-player RPG.
"We have decided that more development time is required in order to deliver the full Ni no Kuni II experience to our fans. I deeply apologise to those who have been looking forward to the game's release. Please rest assured, however, that we will continue to strive to provide a deep and satisfying single player experience that our fans can look forward to enjoying," said Akihiro Hino CEO and President of LEVEL-5 Inc.
Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom releases on PC and PlayStation 4 January 19th, 2018.
