Great Detective Pikachu; 3DS eShop Exclusive Announced for Japan
The Pokemon Company has announced a neat little eShop exclusive coming Japan next week; Great Detective Pikachu: Birth of a New Combination. The game will cost 1,500 yen, available on February 3rd, and can be pre-loaded from tomorrow onwards.
Described as a "cinematic adventure game", Great Detective Pikachu takes place in Rhyme City where Pokemon and people live in harmony. Tim, our young protagonist, arrives in Rhyme City and comes across Pikachu, beginning the story.
Accompanying the announcement comes a strange little trailer bringing Detective Pikachu into the real-world, complete with a unusual-sounding voice compared to what we're used to hearing from the little yellow rodent.
