Edmund McMillen is back and working on Super Meat Boy Forever as his "primary project" as he wraps up on The Bind of Isaac DLC Afterbirth and the bonkers whodunnit title Fingered, which releases today.

“Super Meat Boy Forever is back in development again and is my primary project at this point now that Afterbirth is basically complete on my end and Fingered is [almost] out,” McMillen spilled to Destructoid.

The indie developer took time away from developing his games for the birth of his daughter, presumably named Super Meat Girl on the birth certificate. Super Meat Boy Forever is a sequel of sorts to the original, with what appear to be longer but less dense levels.

McMillen's other project is Mew-Genics and that will continue once Forever is done and out.

Super Meat Boy Forever remains in development with no release scheduled yet.
