Some political drama is coming with The Occupation from indie developer White Paper Games, and it's set in the North-West of England during the 1980s.

A terrorist attack leaves many people dead and so in response a very controversial bill is put forward called The Union Act, which would erode civil liberties for the British people.

We play as a whistle-blowing journalist who, across the span of four hours, will decide the fate of the act and the country.

"The day is October 24th 1987 and the next 4 hours will determine the outcome of the act and the future of the country. Events happen in real-time and you must make decisions based on the evidence surrounding you. Is the cost of an extreme action outweighed by the cause of the greater good? You are the reporter. You decide the narrative."

The Occupation is in development for 2017 with no official platforms announced. It is powered by Unreal Engine 4.
